A route is simply a plan for which enemies to kill on the way through a Mythic+ dungeon. It exists because you must kill a set percentage of the dungeon's forces — and killing extra is wasted time on a timer.

Enemy percentage

The objective tracker shows a percentage that fills as enemies die. Different enemies contribute different amounts — a lieutenant is worth more than a swarm of small mobs. Routes are designed to reach the required percentage efficiently, skipping enemies that cost more time or danger than they contribute.

Why routes are standardized

  • Community-tested routes avoid the nastiest packs and the awkward geometry.
  • Shared routes mean five strangers can play the same map without a meeting.
  • A route is a default, not a religion — experienced tanks adapt it to the group.

How to follow along

  • Stay behind the tank and fight what they engage — the route only works if nobody pulls extra.
  • Watch for skips: some routes intentionally walk past packs. Do not be the reason a skip fails.
  • If you tank, copy an established route first. Raider.IO and the crew are the usual references.
