Crafting orders let you request an item from another player instead of buying it off the auction house — you provide the recipe's requirements, they provide the skill. It is how the crew's crafters actually get used.

Requesting an order

  • Place orders at the crafting-order station in the capital — pick the item, supply the materials, choose public, guild, or personal delivery.
  • Guild orders are the crew's default: they go only to guildmates and keep work inside the Armada.
  • Provide what the recipe asks for. Sending an order missing materials — or expecting the crafter to cover them — is the classic misunderstanding; ask first if you are unsure.

Filling orders as a crafter

  • Guild and personal orders appear in your profession window — filling them raises your skill and your reputation as the crew's go-to.
  • Communicate before filling if anything looks off — wrong materials, impossible quality, odd requests.
  • A tip line exists on every order; what is fair is a social question, not a rule — guildmates sort it out like adults.

Why it matters

Crafting orders are how professions become a guild system instead of a solo one. Ask on the Learning Board before paying stranger prices — someone aboard probably makes what you need.
