Mythic+RoutesDungeons

Tanking Mythic+ is the same job as a normal dungeon plus two new responsibilities: the timer and the route. Neither requires genius — both require a little preparation.

Routes and enemy count

Mythic+ requires killing a percentage of the dungeon's enemies — visible on your objective tracker — plus all bosses. Groups follow routes: planned sequences of pulls that hit the count efficiently. You do not need to invent one.

  • Before your first key in a dungeon, look at a common route on Raider.IO or ask the crew — copying a known route is standard practice, not cheating.
  • Learn which packs are dangerous. Every dungeon has pulls the community agrees are nasty; skip or shrink them at low keys.
  • Over-pulling past the required percentage wastes time; a route exists to avoid exactly that.

In the dungeon

  • Say your pull size intentions on dangerous packs — 'big pull, use defensives' takes four seconds.
  • Watch healer mana on a timer. The pace that feels safe in normals can starve a healer in keys.
  • Position bosses like trash: frontals away from the group, move deliberately, drop pools where they will not block the next phase.

When it goes wrong

A death does not end a key; panic pulls do. Regroup, shrink the next pull, and keep moving. The timer punishes hesitation more than it punishes an honest wipe.
